Residential Visits Centre

Huntington House is a long established centre designed to provide accommodation for educational groups visiting York.

It is close to the city centre and convenient for visits to the North Yorkshire Moors, the East Coast and places of interest throughout Yorkshire.

It is used by schools, colleges, special interest groups and those wanting good accommodation at a budget price. The facilities are available for your sole use throughout your stay and the menu and timings of the meals can be arranged to suit your programme. We hope that you will make yourself at home.

Huntington House is situated within short walking distance of the Minster. Based at the centre is the York Education Workshop which offers study material, equipment and expertise tailored to meet your requirements.

The accommodation is designed to suit groups of up to fifty people at budget prices and is especially suitable for groups of children. Advice and help with your visit is offered as part of our service.

You will find the centre warm and comfortable. All your meals will be provided, including a packed lunch which can be eaten at the centre if you wish.
